This Privacy Policy explains how Sunshine Corporation ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, processes, and protects information when merchants install or use the NoCheat Shopify application ("App").
NoCheat is a Shopify application designed to help Shopify merchants create and manage discount codes and discount configurations within their Shopify stores.
1. Information We Access
When you install and use NoCheat, the App may access information from your Shopify store that is necessary to provide its functionality.
Depending on the features enabled and permissions granted to the App, this may include:
- Shopify store and installation information
- Product and product variant information
- Discount and discount configuration information
- Order and transaction-related information required for attribution, affiliate analytics, commission calculation, and reporting
- Shopify customer identifiers required to associate orders and purchases with attribution and analytics records
- Order dates, order status, purchase amounts, refunds, cancellations, and line-item information
- Attribution identifiers, referral information, tracking-link information, campaign information, and affiliate information
- Storefront analytics and event information such as page views, product views, add-to-cart events, checkout events, and purchase events
- Information required to authenticate and securely operate the App
NoCheat's Creator, Affiliate, and Attribution functionality is designed to use only the minimum customer and storefront data required to provide attribution, analytics, commission, and reporting functionality.
NoCheat does not intentionally collect or require customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses for its Creator, Affiliate, and Attribution functionality.
NoCheat does not intentionally collect or use customer personal data for its discount-management functionality.
2. How We Use Information
Information accessed by NoCheat is used only to:
- Create and manage discount configurations
- Display discount information within Shopify Admin
- Provide creator, affiliate, attribution, and campaign management functionality
- Track referral and attribution activity
- Attribute eligible orders and revenue to creators, affiliates, campaigns, or tracking links
- Calculate commissions, creator costs, earnings, and related analytics
- Provide reporting and business analytics to merchants
- Maintain and improve the App
- Authenticate and secure access to the App
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain reliability
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
We do not use Shopify customer information for unrelated services, behavioral advertising, or the sale of personal data.
Information processed for Creator, Affiliate, and Attribution functionality is limited to the purposes described above.
3. Shopify Data
NoCheat operates within the Shopify platform and uses Shopify APIs and related Shopify services to provide its functionality.
Your use of Shopify and the Shopify platform remains subject to Shopify's own terms, policies, and privacy practices.
The App only requests access to information necessary for its intended functionality.
4. Customer Personal Data
Certain NoCheat features, including Creator, Affiliate, and Attribution functionality, may process limited customer-related information associated with Shopify orders.
This information is used only when necessary to provide merchant-requested attribution, affiliate analytics, commission calculation, reporting, and related functionality.
NoCheat does not intentionally require or use customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses for these features.
NoCheat does not sell, rent, or provide customer personal data to third parties for behavioral advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.
Customer-related information is processed only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and only to the extent necessary to provide the App's functionality.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information accessed through the App against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, no method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the functionality requested by merchants, maintain attribution and analytics history, support financial and commission reporting, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods based on their purpose.
Storefront tracking and event data is retained only for the period necessary to provide attribution and analytics functionality.
Order, attribution, commission, refund, and related financial records may be retained for longer periods when reasonably necessary for merchant reporting, reconciliation, dispute resolution, security, or legal and accounting requirements.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Data Deletion and Uninstallation
When you uninstall NoCheat, access to your Shopify store through the App is removed.
Where applicable, information associated with the App installation will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data-retention practices and applicable legal requirements.
You may also contact us if you have questions regarding deletion of information associated with your use of NoCheat.
8. Third-Party Services
NoCheat may use third-party infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and support the App.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to NoCheat and are expected to maintain appropriate safeguards.
NoCheat may use cloud database and infrastructure providers to securely store and process application data, including information required for Creator, Affiliate, Attribution, order, analytics, and commission functionality.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our practices, legal requirements, or other operational needs.
